The Sawara Municipal Aquatic Botanical Garden

The Sawara Municipal Aquatic Botanical Garden, which was opened in 1969, is one of the amusement facilities for sightseeing and recreation with plenty of water and green nature at the far eastern side of the Suigo and Tsukuba Quasi-National Park. The garden grows 1,500,000 plants of 400 species of "iris" and over 300 species of "lotus" (the largest number in Japan).
